Queen of Green Smoothie
Green smoothies are an exceptionally good way to get more alkalising greens into the body. This smoothie has double the alkalising power, with the hemp seeds and hemp protein powder adding extra nutritional goodness.
Two shakes of a lamb’s tail
- 500 ml water
- 1 apple
- 1 banana Tip: frozen banana is refreshing in a smoothie! Peel ‘em before you freeze ‘em.
- 6 spinach leaves
- juice of 1 large lemon
- 2 T hemp seeds
- 1 T hemp protein powder
Wash and chop fruit and vegetables.
Juice the lemon. Tip: Keep a little of the outer skin to add as well if it’s an organic lemon for that extra lemony flavour which tones down the “green”.
Put all ingredients into blender.
Blend until nice and smooth.
