VANILLA OAT & CHIA PARFAIT RECIPE

PREPARATION TIME

Overnight soak & 5 minutes prep

 

METHOD

STEP 1:

Mix together the oat base ingredients and place in the fridge overnight.

 

STEP 2:

Whisk together the ingredients for the chia pudding and then place in the fridge overnight.

 

STEP 3:

Mix together the ingredients for the apple layer.

 

STEP 4:

Create layers with the apple mixture, oat base, chia pudding. Top with toasted oats, toasted almonds and mashed raspberries.

 

INGREDIENTS

For oat base:
  • 1 C ground up oats
  • ¼ C Mesquite Powder
  • 2 C almond milk
  • 1 ½ tsp vanilla essence or powder
  • 1 banana, mashed
  • ¼ tsp salt

For chia pudding:
  • ⅓ C Chia Seeds
  • 1 ¼ C almond milk
  • ¼ C Coconut Blossom Nectar
  • Pinch of salt

Apple mixture:
  • 1 C apples, chopped
  • ⅓ C almond butter
  • ¼ C Coconut Blossom Nectar
  • ¼ C Melted Cacao Butter
  • ¼ tsp salt

Optional Extras:
  • Toasted oats
  • Roasted almonds
  • Mashed raspberries
  • Cacao nibs
